今年的耶誕假期, 過的有點欲振乏力...
熟識的朋友一個個離開, 邁向下一個旅程,
就連 Kiki 也已經回到溫暖的台北,
我一個人晃啊晃的, 還賴在愛丁堡...
像個離開水域的海星, 緊緊抱著腳下的沙子......

這邊沒下雪, 高地沒下雪,
慕尼黑沒下雪, 紐約沒下雪, 連 Halifax (N.C.) 也沒下雪...
全球暖化這幾個大字又在我腦袋中呼嘯而過一次

不下雪就算了, 竟然還下起雨來......
實在是悶的很......

好在我有先見知明, 買了幾本書和雜誌,
佐上 BBC1 及 BBC2, 藏在溫暖的被窩中墮落個幾天.

對車子實在是沒什麼了解,
衝著 Jeremy Clarkson, 我觀賞了 Top Gear 的年終回顧秀;
撇開對車子的評論不說, 十輛 Suzuki Swift 進行 Ice Hockey 的片段,
相當充滿娛樂效果!!!!!! (連結請點選title)
puck 大小約為車子的1/3 , 犯規還會被送到 sin bin (penalty box)...
看的我都有點躍躍欲試了...

在看 Mrs Henderson Presents 的同時,
吃了"兩盤" 義大利麵/蒜頭/培根/蛋,
現在還撐著一個胖嘟嘟的肚子, 慢慢消化中...
(好像吃的太多了一點......)

還是熱點 mulled wine 來幫助消化好了......

Kiki's diary 26/12/06

Mummy,

Merry Christmas (Boxing Day here now). I think I made Daddy angry this morning. I was up playing most of the night. It was boring though after a while without Daddy to keep me company. Just before 5, I decided to wake Daddy up but he was sleeping very soundly. I think he might have thought that he was dreaming when I tried to wake him. There was a big glass of orange juice on the bedside table. I sort of pushed it over and orange juice went all over Daddy, the bed, and the pillows. It did not seem like such a good idea afterward and I ran out to hide under the Christmas tree.

I was lucky that the glass did not break. It actually bounced off the mattress and landed the right way up on the edge of the bedframe. I have been trying to be nice to Daddy now but he is a little angry. I do not think he will be going back to bed this morning though he looks very tired still. He is not giving me any attention either. I think I am going to find some more mosquitos to play with.

Kiki's diary 17/12/06

Hmmm . . . my little black and white alarm clock was up and on me at 5:00. I was sleepy so I got up gave him food, water, opened the door, and then went back to back after sitting with him for a minute. Well long story short is that at 6:15 he was getting very frustrated after trying to get me up for a while and the next thing I knew there was a crash of glass breaking - he had pushed one of the candle holders off of the bedside table. I sat up and he was already moving toward pushing another candle holder over to the edge. It is Monday I suppose. We are all good here now though and he is cuddled up on the blanket. We are, however, going to have to come up with a new understanding.

Kiki's diary 15/12/06

Hmmm . . . it's cold (14) and very wet here this morning and I think the weather is making Kiki a little homesick. He decided last night that sleeping on my chest is a comfortable spot. Though he is a touch heavy, it was okay so long as he had his head under my chin. The thing is that every so often he would want to readjust - head and paws on my groin and his tail in my face. Well . . . that made it a little difficult to sleep so Kiki would have to get moved to the side and well . . . we played that game on and off for an hour or two - he would climb up and snuggle then lie down with his head under my chin but eventually end up with his tail in my face. This continued until somebody decided that it was time to get up - maybe 4AM though. Hmmm . . . this eventually led to me opening the door so he could explore and play. I am not sure but the weather has given Kiki a boost of energy or something and he spent the next three hours slowly stalking me from the kitchen, striking hard and fast, and then escaping again back out the room. Every so often he would mix his attacks up with some kisses and snuggling. I got up at 7 and played with him for twenty minutes and now he is curled up on the bed in front of the heater napping.
