Murphy came knocking on my door at 6am after his nocturnal hunt. Strange as it is, I usually don't hear the sound of alarm, but somehow could respond swiftly to the meowing. After crawling back to bed, Murphy wanted a share of my warm bed, and tunneled himself under the duvet and pretended what he's doing was perfectly alright. It was alright for me. Actually, this is the sort of thing I want Kiki to do (but could only achieve that for a minute or two by holding him tightly and pulled the duvet over). We snuggled together for a while.
Saturday morning. Everyone in the house is making the most of it by sleeping in. Murphy was hungry by 8am. He tried to wake Ruth up, but she had a serious drinking section last night, so no hope there. Murphy managed to make it very clear to me that he was hungry, and showed me where his bowl was. Whilst pouring the food, his head was right in the food bowl... had to push him slightly away... He was hungry. Lovely lovely cat with a dog character. Murphy is a dog in cat's fur I think!

Murphy in my bed
After a chaotic, traumatic 17-hour of packing and moving, I'm now relocated to another side the city. The new neighborhood is more colourful, the atmosphere calmer, the air fresher. Or is it a different me viewing the world in another angle? Maybe. After all, I've passed my viva!!!
I opened my door to Murphy. No, he was knocking on my door (by meowing) asking me to let him in. Couldn't resist his calling, so got out of my nice cosy warm bed and opened the door for him. He joined me immediately without asking for permission, and found a spot to himself and snuggle right next to me. It's only my third night in this house, and Murphy has decided to spend the night with me. Good boy! A friendly cat would keep me happy.
